Joanne
Hi, my name is Joanne Starkie and I am the Senior Service User Involvement Officer for Metropolitan Support Trust (MST). I am originally from Warrington in the north west of England, and I moved to London about four years ago. Before joining MST, I worked for a charity that helps people with disabilities in Nottingham.
As part of the MST team, I will be working to improve the ways service users can get involved in what we do, and the decisions we make. In the last year, a lot of new ways for service users to get involved have been introduced, such as the Regional Service User Groups.
I will be working with service users to continue to develop projects like these as well as starting new ones.
