Within the current period of world financial instability and likely public sector funding squeezes, our main aim is to maintain financial viability, plan for the steady growth of the organisation, improve the value-for-money offer to our customers and continue to maintain high quality services and customer satisfaction.

The driving force is our commitment to diversity, innovation and delivering a service that responds to local needs. Through sharing knowledge and expertise across our 200+ services, the diversity of the business is harnessed to create new models and improved practice. For example:

• we’re replicating mobile working for floating support services across the organisation
• new approaches to working with advocates and new ways of managing money for vulnerable adults have been shared
• a joint approach to ‘personalisation’ of services is being developed.

We’re investing, as part of Metropolitan Housing Partnership, in the development of our systems and processes to ensure that they are ready for future challenges. We’ve identified the way forward and improvements to systems and processes are being introduced over the next 12 months. This will ensure we deliver more effective and efficient services.
