Green Routes make new roots

On Saturday 11 December, Finsbury Park will be receiving a face lift in the form of new hedgerow fencing as part of a joint partnership managed by Metropolitan Support Trust (MST). It will replace the current fencing along Seven Sisters boundary of the park and local resident and volunteers will be working during the day to plant over 25 meters of hedgerow fencing.
The partnership is made up of MST’s Green Routes, Haringey Council, Transition Finsbury Park and Friends of Finsbury Park and is funded by the National Tree Council.

On 29 March, staff and services of Safe Haven, an organisation which provides support to refugees, asylum seekers and other vulnerable groups, transferred to Metropolitan Support Trust.
