www.mst-online.org.ukWe aim to deliver the best support and care services in the country, so we’ve relaunched our website with targeted information and a range of features to help us engage with all our customers.

Information is now split into easily accessible information:

  • “ME”: for current services users
  • “JOIN”: for potential service users, partners or volunteers
  • “COMMISSIONERS AND PARTNERS”: for existing commissioners and partners

There’s also a corporate section where, for example, there is an interactive map of MST services and information on the MST Board.

A range of new features will help us establish two-way conversations with users, such as:

  • a forum where users can talk to other people who use MST’s services
  • feedback forms
  • the ability to subscribe to news bulletins.

You’ll also find a growing number of videos and case studies of people and projects, as well as an increasing number of links to helpful information/advice self-help sites.

Lucy Cooper, Operations Manager for Midlands/Yorkshire region, said: “We hope the website will help us work more effectively with our existing and new customers. We will continue to exlore ways to use new technology to improve our service and welcome feedback and input from all our partners.”

Listening to service users

Service users originally identified a need for us to redevelop the website and have taken an active interest throughout the project. A number participated in focus groups and as members of the editorial panel, and one service user volunteer worked with our technical team on the development of the site. We will continue to take on board feedback as we begin the process of promoting and demonstrating to service users how some of the new features work.
